Deliveries
- Free delivery and pickup for all orders over $125!
- All items will be delivered between 1:00pm and 8:00pm on the day of your arrival, unless express delivery is selected at checkout.
- Express Delivery: Guaranteed delivery service by 1 PM is available for all orders, for a $30 service charge.
- For item pickups, items will be picked by noon on the morning of your departure. You do not have to be present at the time of pickup, please leave all items outside in a fashion similar to how they were delivered.
- A $20 service charge will be applied for delivery of orders less than $125.
- All delivery service charges include pick-up.
- We offer delivery and pickup from Nags Head to Corolla
- Unfortunately, we are not able to deliver to “4-wheel drive access” (areas north of Corolla), or to the Hatteras Island areas. If you have any questions about your location please email us your location at rentals@justforthebeach.com and we will be glad to assist you.
Payments
- We require prepayment on all orders.
Order Deadlines
- We are happy to rent equipment same-day by phone, or in person if you come to one of our locations.
- However, all online reservations must be made at least 24 hours prior to your arrival date to guarantee your equipment.
- Please call 866-OBX-RENT for any last minute reservations!
Cancellations
- A full refund will be issued on all cancellations received 48 hours prior to reservation date.
- There will be a 20% cancellation fee on all reservations cancelled less than 48 hours before reservation date.
- Once equipment has been picked up at our store or delivered to your cottage, we will be glad to exchange your rentals for other rental equipment of equal or lesser value. If other rental equipment is not need the value of your equipment will be put into store credit for future orders.
Hurricane Policy
- In the unfortunate event of a mandatory evacuation order, please call the store from which your equipment was delivered from to make arrangements for returning your equipment to the store.
- A pro-rated in-store credit will be issued to you based on the amount of time remaining on your rental agreement.
- Rental equipment will be available to you upon returning to the area after the evacuation has ended.

JUST FOR THE BEACH RENTALS AND ITS’ EMPLOYEES ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR TO THE INTERIOR OR EXTERIOR OF YOUR VEHICLE DURING LOADING, UNLOADING, OR TRANSPORT OF ANY RENTAL EQUIPMENT.
ALL EQUIPMENT IS USED AT LESSEE’S RISK. The Lessee acknowledges that Lessee has inspected the equipment and has determined that same is in good condition and suitable for the purpose for which it has been leased. The Lessee shall only use the property in the manner for which it is designed and intended to be used. Lessee recognizes that the property is being received AS IS and WITH ALL FAULTS. LESSOR MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS, PROMISES, OR WARRANTIES, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, CONCERNING THE MERCHANTABILITY, SUITABILITY, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OF THE PROPERTY. LESSOR EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES, WHETHER ARISING FROM STATUTE, COMMON LAW, CUSTOM, OR OTHERWISE.
Lessee assumes all responsibility for equipment while out of possession of lessor and promises to return such equipment to the lessor in as good condition as it was at the effective date of the lease, natural wear from a responsible use expected. Lessee shall be liable for any loss, theft, damage or destruction of leased property. All equipment lost or damaged beyond repair will be paid by the lessee at regular replacement price. All damaged equipment which may be repaired will be repaired by the lessor, on return thereof and the cost for such repairs shall be paid by the lessee. Accrued rental charges cannot be applied against the purchase price or cost of repairs of such damaged or lost equipment. Scheduled rental rates begin when the equipment leaves our store and continues until returned. Lessee shall indemnify and hold Lessor harmless from any and all claims, damages, or proceedings (including all costs, expenses, and attorney’s fees) related to or arising out of Lessor’s use or possession of the equipment. This equipment shall be used by the Lessee only. This writing contains and constitutes the entire agreement between the parties. This lease agreement can only be modified by written agreement signed by both Lessor and Lessee. The Lessee represents that Lessee is at least eighteen (18) years of age and under no disability which will prevent Lessee from entering into this agreement. Lessee agrees not to part with or assign this lease or the equipment without the written consent of Lessor.
